The Tahmoor Taipans Soccer Club plays at the Tahmoor Sports Ground. It comprises of almost 500 players from around the Wollondilly Shire, including the villages of Tahmoor, Picton, Wilton, Thirlmere and Bargo. The players are spread across 30 junior teams both boys and girls from 5 years old, up to 8 Adult teams. (6 Men’s, and 2 Women’s). We are the largest soccer club in the Wollondilly Shire.
Tahmoor Soccer Club play in the Macarthur District Competition against teams across Wollondilly, Camden and Campbelltown areas. We have produced a number of champion teams across multiple age groups. A number of our players have gone on to play for Macarthur. Our primary focus is as a family club and offer a place for anyone to play soccer, not just selected players.
The club recently celebrated its 51st year and has been a stable part of the local community providing many thousands of hours of sporting activity, skill development and leadership experience to our local youth.
